Pastor William F. Kumuyi, who leads the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, believes only God can resolve Nigeria's mounting security crisis.
He made this statement to journalists after meeting with Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia at the Government House.
The clergy leader visited Benue as part of a week-long crusade scheduled for Gboko and Otukpo local government areas. "God is our ultimate problem solver," Kumuyi told reporters, adding that while humans bear responsibility for wrongdoing, they cannot be the answer to the nation's troubles.
Deputy Governor Sam Ode, representing Governor Alia, highlighted Benue's vast agricultural potential and talented workforce during the meeting. He said the state administration is dedicated to creating a peaceful, united and inclusive environment where all citizens can prosper.
Kumuyi's remarks came as insecurity continues to grip different regions of the country. The pastor urged Nigerians to turn to God for deliverance from the security challenges plaguing the nation.
