Kano State Government Receives Two Advanced Fire-Fighting Trucks from Federal Government

For the safety and security of Kano State, the state government has recently received two advanced digital fire-fighting vehicles from the federal government.

The Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to emergency preparedness and the protection of lives and properties.

During the unveiling ceremony, the Governor emphasized the importance of making the best use of these state-of-the-art vehicles, which will greatly enhance the state’s capacity to respond to fire incidents and other emergencies.

The acquisition of these fire-fighting trucks is part of the federal government’s initiative to equip selected states with modern resources to tackle emergencies effectively.

Engineer A. Kazeem, the Controller of the Federal Fire Service, Kano Command, highlighted the significance of the newly deployed digital fire-fighting trucks in safeguarding lives and properties in the state.

He also mentioned that Kano was among the 20 states chosen to receive the fire-fighting trucks, emphasizing the importance of this allocation for the state’s overall safety.

The advanced digital fire-fighting trucks will enable the Kano State fire service to respond more effectively to fire incidents, potentially saving lives and preventing significant property damage.

This development will undoubtedly contribute to the overall safety and well-being of the residents of Kano State.
