Eminent pharmacist, healthcare leader, philanthropist and corporate executive, Pharm. (Dr.) Paul Osogbe Enebeli has formally accepted his appointment as Chairman of the Advisory Board of BEL Dialogue, the audience-participatory public affairs platform established by Bel Media Consult Limited.
In a letter dated June 4, 2026, addressed to the Secretary of BEL Dialogue, Enebeli described the appointment as a privilege and pledged to deploy his vast professional and leadership experience to support the platform's vision of promoting informed conversations on governance, leadership, development and societal progress.
"I consider this appointment a privilege and commend the vision behind BEL Dialogue in fostering informed public discourse on issues of governance, leadership, development and societal progress," Enebeli stated.
Expressing gratitude to the management of Bel Media Consult Limited for the confidence reposed in him, he assured stakeholders of his commitment to advancing the initiative's objectives.
"I am pleased to lend my support and experience towards the advancement of the initiative and the achievement of its objectives," he added, while expressing readiness to work closely with the Board, management and stakeholders to promote impactful dialogue capable of contributing meaningfully to national development.
Enebeli's acceptance is widely seen as a significant boost for BEL Dialogue, given his distinguished record of leadership, professional excellence and public service spanning several decades. A towering figure in Nigeria's healthcare sector, he serves as Chairman of New Heights Pharma Limited and was previously Chairman of the Board of Fellows of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN). He is also a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (FPSN), the profession's highest honour in the country.
His outstanding contributions to healthcare, education and community development earned him the award of Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) by the University of Benin during its 48th Convocation Ceremony. He is equally a Fellow of the Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy (FNAPHARM), Fellow of the West African Post-Graduate College of Pharmacists (FPCPHARM), and a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF), one of Rotary International's highest recognitions for humanitarian service.
Beyond healthcare, Enebeli has distinguished himself as a respected community leader, public policy advocate and development strategist. He served as Worldwide President of the University of Benin Alumni Association, chaired the university's Integrated Enterprises, represented the South-South region at the 2014 National Conference, and currently serves on the Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council.
As former President General of the Ndokwa National Union (NNU), he championed several humanitarian interventions, including the distribution of multi-million naira medical relief materials to flood victims across affected communities. He is also widely acknowledged for his advocacy for the integration of indigenous herbal resources into Nigeria's formal healthcare system.
Industry observers believe Enebeli's extensive experience in healthcare administration, corporate governance, community leadership and public policy will strengthen BEL Dialogue's mission of becoming a leading platform for solution-driven engagement and public discourse.
BEL Dialogue, an initiative of Bel Media Consult Limited, publishers of 'Ndokwa Reporters' and 'The Brief', was established to provide a credible forum for robust discussions on governance, economic development, leadership, public policy and other issues of national and global significance. Since its unveiling during the 12th anniversary celebration of Ndokwa Reporters in August 2025, the platform has continued to grow as a strategic engagement hub connecting policymakers, industry leaders, development experts and citizens. Its second edition is scheduled for July 30, 2026, with stakeholders expected to deliberate on critical issues affecting society and national development.
