I won’t challenge election result at tribunal — Dino Melaye

Senator Dino Melaye, the PDP candidate in the Kogi State Governorship election that just ended, has declared his decision not to pursue legal action after his electoral defeat.

Melaye said his decision was based on the fact that the judiciary has allegedly become an arm of the ruling All Progressives Congress, or APC.

He said this at a media briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.

According to him, it is now common knowledge that the judiciary under the current administration has become the “lost hope” instead of the “last hope” of the ordinary man.

Melaye observed that it was a disgrace that the judiciary watched idly as members of the ruling party bragged of their control over the judiciary during campaigns.
