A Delta State House of Assembly aspirant, for Sapele constituency, Mr Moses Ogodo at the weekend said that he will not declare his ambition for the assembly race until his principal; Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru officially declares his gubernatorial ambition.
Ogodo, an APC chieftain in Delta, while was speaking at the commissioning of his campaign office in Sapele, Delta State also added that he was opening the campaign office because election is fast approaching.
“I am just commissioning this campaign office but I will not declare until my principal, Chief Great Ogboru does so, I was his candidate for the House of Assembly in 2003, so my relationship with him has been cordial, but now we are preparing ground so that we can have administrative secretariat for our campaign. We are putting logistics in place because time is not on our side” he said.
The former Community leader, and two times councillor also said Sapele has not really benefited from members that have emerged from Sapele constituency, “a good representation is needed. I have tried providing basic amenities to my people in various communities, and with the APC ticket, we will be able to more.”
On his chances in the fourth coming election, Ogodo, said chances are not created by men, but God, adding that his supporter will come out fully to mobilize for the forth coming election soon, and by God’s grace he will win.
Those who graced the commissioning include; Chief Julius Ogboru, Elder Neil Ayeni, Chief John Anakirierhi, Barr Festus Madagwa, Chief Captain Sota, Sapele LG factional APC chairman, Mr Erubasa Friday and host of APC leaders from across the State.
