Governor Uba Sani Vows to Revamp Kaduna’s Healthcare and Education Sectors

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has expressed his concern over the deteriorating state of healthcare and education in the region.

During a meeting with All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders, he emphasized the need for immediate action to address the issues plaguing 32 general hospitals and over 1,500 schools in the state.

Governor Uba Sani lamented that the general hospitals in Kaduna have not been renovated in the last 20 years, forcing citizens to seek medical care in neighboring states.

To remedy this situation, the governor has announced plans to remodel, reconstruct, and reequip six of the general hospitals in the state.

These hospitals are located in Rigasa, Maigana, Gwantu, Kafanchan, Giwa, and Ikara.

The governor also highlighted the importance of education, particularly for the children of the poor, and revealed that over 1,500 schools in the state lack proper fencing.

As part of the Safe School Initiative, two prominent Kaduna-based business moguls, Alhaji Adamu Atta of Fifth Chucker and Alhaji Bukar Shettima of Barbados, have pledged to build fences for 100 schools.

Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to addressing the challenges in the healthcare and education sectors is a step towards improving the lives of the people in Kaduna State.

By investing in these vital areas, the governor aims to ensure that citizens have access to quality healthcare and education, laying the foundation for a brighter future for the state.
