Governor Oborevwori, Special Adviser, Shimite Love,

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has expressed profound grief over the sudden passing of his Special Adviser on Trade and Export, Chief Shimite Love, who died in the early hours of Monday.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, on Monday in Asaba, the Governor extended his sincere condolences to the people of Oshimili North Local Government Area, particularly the Ebu community, who are mourning the loss of a respected daughter and political leader.

Governor Oborevwori described Chief Love as “an accomplished, intelligent, and charismatic political figure”, praising her dedication and excellence in every public office she occupied.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I mourn the loss of an exceptional professional and elegant politician who passed away in Asaba on Easter Monday,” the Governor stated.

He further acknowledged her remarkable service to the state, saying: “She served Delta State with distinction, and until her death, was diligently leading our export initiatives as Special Adviser on Trade and Export.”

Governor Oborevwori lamented that her untimely passing came at a critical time when her expertise was most needed, noting that her absence would be deeply felt by the government and people of Delta State.

He concluded with prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked God to comfort her family, friends, and the Ebu community.
