Governor Alia Denies Calling for APC National Chairman’s Resignation

Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has denied calling for the resignation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

The statement, issued by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Tersoo Kula, aimed to clarify any misconceptions and reaffirm the governor’s support for the APC leadership.

Governor Alia’s CPS emphasized that the governor enjoys a good relationship with the Ganduje-led leadership of the APC and has not participated in any meetings to discuss the removal or call for the resignation of the national party chairman.

The statement further highlighted that Governor Alia is focused on positively changing the fortunes of Benue State and is committed to repositioning the party for future victories.

“The Benue State governor remains firm in his support and allegiance to the leadership of the National Working Committee of the APC, under the leadership of Alhaji Ganduje,” Kula stated.

As Governor Alia continues to work towards the betterment of Benue State, it is evident that he stands in solidarity with the APC leadership and has no intention of calling for the resignation of the national chairman.
