Fubara Inspects Assembly Quarters, Emohua-Kalabari Road Project

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has taken a proactive step towards addressing infrastructural challenges in the state by conducting an on-the-spot assessment of the House of Assembly quarters in Port Harcourt.
The visit came just a day after the emergence of a factional Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly and is part of the governor’s effort to improve the living conditions of the lawmakers.
During his visit, Governor Fubara revealed that the inspection was aimed at evaluating the current state of the Assembly quarters to facilitate a possible rehabilitation project.
This move is in line with his administration’s commitment to providing conducive environments for government officials and the general public.
Furthermore, Governor Fubara also visited the ongoing Emohua-Kalabari Road project, a critical infrastructure development initiative inherited from the previous administration.
The governor expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project and announced that it would be commissioned during his administration’s one-year anniversary.
The Emohua-Kalabari Road project has significantly reduced travel time between Emohua and Kalabari, improving connectivity and security in the region.
Governor Fubara emphasized that the project was undertaken with the welfare of the people in mind, highlighting the importance of efficient infrastructure in promoting economic growth and social well-being.
Governor Fubara’s recent activities underscore his administration’s commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability.
By prioritizing the needs of the people and taking a hands-on approach to addressing infrastructural challenges, the governor aims to foster a sense of unity and progress within the state.
