Fubara Boosts Healthcare in Rivers State: Immediate Promotions for Teaching Hospital Staff

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the immediate commencement of promotions for all staff members at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH).

This decision was announced during a meeting with members of the newly inaugurated RSUTH board, as part of the governor’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of healthcare workers and strengthening the healthcare infrastructure in the state.

Fubara’s approval for staff promotions at RSUTH demonstrates his administration’s dedication to enhancing the welfare of healthcare professionals and ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services to the people of the state.

Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Professor Chizindu Alikor, commended the governor for this approval, emphasizing that the gesture underscores Fubara’s commitment to the well-being of healthcare professionals and the provision of quality healthcare services in the state.

Alikor also expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adaeze Oreh, for providing exemplary leadership and continuous support to enable RSUTH to provide quality healthcare services in the state.

The promotion exercise for RSUTH staff is expected to be initiated immediately, as directed by Governor Fubara, in line with the commitment to enhancing the healthcare infrastructure in Rivers State.
