Former PDP Chairman Criticizes APC, Promises Better Future Under PDP

Eddy Olafeso, the former National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the south-west, has criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for inflicting hardship on Nigerians.

In a recent statement, Olafeso expressed his optimism for a better future under the PDP, emphasizing that the opposition party has a track record of development and prosperity for the country.

Speaking in Akure, the Ondo State capital, Olafeso highlighted the current challenges facing Nigeria, including poverty, insecurity, and the absence of a middle class.

He argued that the situation cannot continue indefinitely and expressed confidence in the PDP’s ability to restore hope and progress for the people.

“There’s no middle class anymore; there is poverty in the land; there is insecurity.

What else can we hope for but the support of the people that will make the PDP’s dream of creating prosperity for this country happen as quickly as possible?” Olafeso said.

The former PDP chairman acknowledged the current challenges but remained optimistic about the future, stating, “We are sure that the future will take care of itself, and we are very resolute, and beside that, the future of Nigeria, especially the current situation that Nigerians are facing under APC, can’t continue forever.”

Olafeso’s remarks come as the PDP aims to regain power in Nigeria, with a focus on addressing the issues currently plaguing the country.

The party has a history of governance in Nigeria and is hoping to leverage its experience and achievements to win back the support of the people.

As Nigerians look toward the future, the PDP’s promises of a better life and renewed development are likely to resonate with those who have experienced hardship under the current administration.

The political landscape in Nigeria remains dynamic, and the upcoming elections will be a crucial test for both the ruling APC and the opposition PDP.
