Former Kwara Senator and Nigerian Military Strategist Pass Away: Rafiu Ibrahim and Colonel Hassan Stan-Labo Laid to Rest

Nigeria mourns the loss of two distinguished individuals: former Kwara South Senator, Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, and Colonel Hassan Stan-Labo, a celebrated security consultant and defence strategist.

Rafiu Ibrahim, who represented Kwara South Senatorial District in the eighth National Assembly, passed away on Wednesday morning, leaving behind a legacy of service and commitment to the people he represented.

In a separate development, the Nigerian Military School (NMS) Old Boys forum announced the death of Colonel Hassan Stan-Labo (Rtd.), a respected security consultant and defence strategist.

Air Commodore Sani Zakari (Rtd.) confirmed the news, marking a significant loss within the military community.

Stan-Labo, a short-service officer trained at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), was a proud member of the 1979 NMS Boy set.

He was known for his strategic acumen and contributions to national security. His passing is mourned by the military and security communities, who recognize the void left by his absence.

As Nigeria lays to rest these two figures, the nation reflects on their contributions and the legacy they leave behind.
