The Member representing Ndokwa West Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Chukwuemeke Charles Emetulu, has called on residents to take full advantage of the second phase of the nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a civic awareness message on Monday, Emetulu emphasised that voter registration is the foundation of democratic participation, urging all eligible citizens to ensure they are properly registered. “Your civic duty starts with registration. The Continuous Voter Registration exercise is simple, fast, and open to all eligible citizens,” he said.

The lawmaker noted that the CVR exercise will run from January 5 to April 17, 2026, for all Nigerians aged 18 and above who have a valid National Identification Number (NIN). Prospective voters can register in person at INEC centres or pre-register online via cvr.inecnigeria.org before completing the biometric capture.

Emetulu described the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) as “your voice, your power, and your contribution to building the future we all desire,” encouraging particularly youths and first-time voters to participate actively. He added, “Together, let’s strengthen our democracy and secure a better Ndokwa West.”

Residents are urged to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure inclusive representation in upcoming elections.
