Eidel-Fitr: Governor Abdulrazaq Urges Muslims to Preserve Ramadan Rewards

Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has called on the Muslim faithful to avoid any actions that could potentially diminish the rewards of their Ramadan fasts or question their sincerity as devotees.

In a statement issued on April 9, 2024, Governor Abdulrazaq congratulated the leader of the Muslim community in the state, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the successful completion of the fasting period.

The governor emphasized the importance of maintaining the noble practices of Ramadan, such as almsgiving, abstaining from negativities, and exhibiting good conduct, as a daily part of their lives.

He urged the Muslim community to unite in pursuit of goodness and to steer clear of actions that could undermine their dedication to their faith.

Governor Abdulrazaq expressed his hope that Allah would bless everyone with a joyous Eid celebration and a prosperous future filled with steadfast faith.

He stressed the significance of preserving the rewards earned during the holy month of Ramadan and maintaining the spirit of devotion throughout the year.

As the Muslim Ummah celebrates Eid-el-Fitr and reflects on the lessons of Ramadan, Governor Abdulrazaq’s message serves as a reminder of the importance of staying true to the values and principles of Islam.

His call to action encourages the community to continue their spiritual growth and strive for unity in the pursuit of goodness.
