Eid-IL-Fitr: Rep. Laguda Urges Nigerians to Show Empathy and Support the Needy

In a special Eid Mubarak message, Chairman of the House Committee on Polytechnic and Technical Education, Fuad Laguda representing Surulere Constituency 1, has called on Nigerians, particularly Muslims, to carry forward the lessons of Ramadan by showing compassion, empathy, and support for those in need.

Laguda extended his warmest greetings to Muslims across the world and emphasized the importance of cherishing the spirit of togetherness and gratitude, reflecting on the blessings and mercy of Almighty Allah.

He encouraged Muslims to use the spirit of Eid-IL-Fitr to spread kindness, uplift the needy, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood within their communities.

The message follows the declaration of Wednesday as Eid-el-Fitr by the Sultan of Sokoto, Abubakar Sa’ad III, after the sighting of the moon late Tuesday night.

As Muslims celebrate Eid-IL-Fitr, marking the end of the Ramadan fast, Laguda’s message serves as a reminder of the values of compassion and empathy, which are central to the teachings of Islam.

His call to action encourages Nigerians to work towards unity, peace, and brotherhood in their communities, fostering a more supportive and inclusive society for all.

As the country and the world celebrate Eid-IL-Fitr, it is a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to uplifting one another and promoting peace and harmony.
