Eid-El-Fitr: Lagos Assembly Speaker Obasa Calls for Increased National Unity and Patriotism

Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, has called on Nigerians to intensify their patriotism and work towards national unity in celebration of Eid-El-Fitr, marking the end of the Ramadan fast.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Eromosele Ebhomele, Obasa extended his warm wishes to Muslims in Lagos, across Nigeria, and around the world.

The Speaker emphasized the importance of Eid-El-Fitr as a period for gratitude and reflection on the blessings and strength provided by Almighty Allah during the month of Ramadan.

He urged the Muslim faithful to embrace the virtues of charity, compassion, and love, and to work together to ensure the prosperity and unity of the nation.

Obasa praised the collaborative efforts that have driven progress in Lagos State and pledged the legislature’s continued focus on pro-people initiatives to improve the lives of Lagosians.

He encouraged Nigerians to work with the government to achieve greatness for the country, particularly under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Speaker also reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to maintaining its successful track record and wished the Muslim community a joyous and peaceful Eid-El-Fitr celebration.

As Nigeria celebrates Eid-El-Fitr, Obasa’s message serves as a reminder of the importance of unity, patriotism, and working together for the betterment of the nation.
