Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief Solomon Arenyeka JP, has extended warm wishes to the Muslim faithful across the state, urging them to continue praying for peace and unity beyond the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued by the party’s State Publicity Secretary on his behalf, Arenyeka congratulated the Muslim community on the successful completion of Ramadan and the joyous celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
He lauded their dedication to fasting, prayer, and self-discipline, emphasizing that the values nurtured during this sacred period should guide their daily lives.
"As we conclude this revered month, I encourage all Muslims to uphold the values of patience, compassion, and self-discipline that were nurtured during Ramadan. These values should continue to inspire our collective efforts in fostering harmony and mutual understanding,” he stated.
Arenyeka further stressed the importance of unity and resilience, calling on citizens to remain steadfast in their faith and commitment to the development of Delta State and Nigeria as a whole.
“Our united prayers hold significant potential for fostering positive change. Let us persist in praying for divine guidance as we confront the challenges facing our beloved state and nation,” Chief Arenyeka urged.
“May Allah accept our acts of worship and fulfil our prayers for peace, unity, and progress,” he concluded.
