The Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Oil and Gas, Chief Akpovire Edafevwotu, has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his efforts in sustaining peace within the state's oil and gas communities.
In a recent interview with journalists in Warri, Chief Edafevwotu highlighted Governor Oborevwori's inclusive approach, particularly in ensuring the successful implementation of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).
He called on stakeholders in the oil and gas communities to support the Oborevwori-led administration, emphasizing that such support is crucial for attracting more investors to the state.
Speaking also on the recently concluded People's Democratic Party (PDP) Congress in Delta State, Chief Edafevwotu described the election as both peaceful and credible.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for fostering unity within the party, noting that collaboration is key to the party’s continued growth and the overall development of the state.
Chief Edafevwotu also congratulated the newly elected members of the State Executive Committee of the PDP, led by Chief Solomon Areyenka, on their successful election at the State Congress.
