DSP Omo-Agege performed far beyond most senators in 9th Assembly -Dafinone

The Senator Representing Delta Central Senatorial district, Senator Ede Dafinone, has applauded the performance of the former Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege CFR, noting that he performed at a level far beyond most senators in the 9th Assembly.
Senator Dafinone started this at Ughelli while addressing journalists as the Chairman of Senator Omo-Agege’s homecoming celebration on Saturday, saying that Obarisi delivered exceptional service to the people of Delta Central where he raised the bar of legislative representation.
According to the Delta Central lawmaker, “Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is a man who is driven by the spirit of excellence, when he sets out to achieve something, he pursues it will all his energy and doesn’t take his eyes off the target.
“If you look through his performance in the senate, he performed at a level far beyond most senators, and he raised the bar so high that something I am concerned about, but I must raise the bar higher.
“I am pleased that the performance record of Senator Omo-Agege left behind was an excellent one, I am proud of him, and that is why I and my team must work harder to raise the bar even higher in terms of the deliverables.
“So, we are gathered here today to celebrate him, four years as the Deputy President of the Senate is not a mean achievement, it’s a thing of celebration, when the time for politics comes we will, but today is to celebrate a worthy leader.
Earlier in his welcome address, Senator Dafinone said, “Obarisi has served our nation with distinction, and I stand with fellow leaders and party members in acknowledging and appreciating his contributions.
“It’s not just a source of pride but a true privilege to celebrate his achievements as Deputy President of the 9th Senate. He excelled both as a legislator and a leader, demonstrating exemplary performance in the Senate.
“It is also worthy to note that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege led one of the most structured and unparalleled campaigns in our State’s history,” he added.
