The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta State chapter has commended Governor Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori for what it described as “a wave of transformational infrastructure” sweeping across the state.

The APC’s congratulatory message follows the Governor’s recent commissioning of high-impact projects including 8 units of fully furnished four-bedroom duplexes for state commissioners, the revamp of Warri Central Hospital with state-of-the-art medical equipment, and the reconstruction and expansion of key commercial roads—Lower and Upper Erejuwa—in the heart of Warri.

The party’s State Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, Esq., while speaking to newsmen during the commissioning events, Onojeghuo, Esq., praised Governor Oborevwori for what he described as a “bold and deliberate stride towards achieving transformational urban renewal,” further noting that the Governor has continued to match words with action under his administration's M.O.R.E. Agenda.

“Today, we are not just witnessing the opening of projects-we are witnessing the fulfilment of promises,” Onojeghuo stated. “The completion of the commissioners' quarters is a commendable initiative that enhances the dignity and efficiency of governance. Likewise, the revamp of Warri Central Hospital demonstrates this administration’s responsiveness to the healthcare needs of Deltans.”

The new 8-units of 4 bedroom duplexes is expected to provide comfortable, secure, and dignified working accommodation for members of the State Executive Council, enhancing their ability to perform optimally. The upgraded Warri Central Hospital now features cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment equipment, positioning the facility as a critical healthcare hub for both Warri and the surrounding communities.

Equally significant are the rehabilitation and commissioning of the Lower and Upper Erejuwa Roads-key arterial routes that serve as lifelines for the commercial city of Warri. The roads, now modernized and expanded with proper drainage systems, street lighting, and pedestrian-friendly features, are expected to improve mobility, reduce travel time, and stimulate economic activity in the region.

Valentine Onojeghuo emphasized that the Oborevwori's administration is resolutely committed in transforming the architectural landscape of major urban cities in Delta State by its impactful leadership and adherence to the principles of good governance.

“we can see what His Excellency Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori is doing is laudable and deserves recognition. He is, indeed, a promise-keeper, and his efforts so far reflect a clear commitment to inclusive governance and infrastructural rebirth of our dear State.”

He called on all Deltans to rally behind the Oborevwori-led administration to ensure the sustainability and expansion of development projects under the M.O.R.E. Agenda.

“The Governor's agenda aligns with the collective aspirations of our people. We therefore urge every Deltan, regardless of political affiliation, to support this administration in the interest of progress, unity and prosperity," Onojeghuo concluded.

The series of commissioning events drew large crowds of jubilant residents, traditional leaders, political stakeholders, civil servants, and members of the press. The excitement in communities affected by the projects was palpable, with many locals expressing renewed hope in the capacity of the government to deliver dividends of democracy.

With these latest accomplishments, Governor Oborevwori’s administration continues to make bold strides in redefining the infrastructure landscape of Delta State and deepening public confidence in democratic leadership.
