Apostle John Okoriko wants Nigerians to stay strong in their faith. Speaking in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, the Solid Rock Kingdom Church founder urged Christians not to lose hope amid economic hardship and insecurity.

During his monthly service, Okoriko warned against self-harm and suicide. He said many people today crumble when faced with difficult circumstances.

According to him, inner strength matters more than external challenges. "If you don't harm yourself, nothing else can harm you," he noted.

Okoriko told worshippers that having Christ within them gives them power. "You can face all life's difficulties and overcome without destroying yourself," he said.

He encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful despite current conditions. In his words, "things will surely get better."

Okoriko also cautioned against judging situations based on what they appear to be. "What you see most times may not be the truth," he explained.

Beyond his message on faith, the cleric criticized certain pastors and prophets. He condemned those who charge money for prayers and healing services.

According to Okoriko, Jesus Christ never demanded payment for miracles. "Our model didn't collect money from anyone to perform miracles," he stated.

Yet some pastors today sell holy water and olive oil at inflated prices, he complained. One bottle selling for N1,500 goes for as much as N7,000 in some places.

Okoriko insisted such practices contradict Christ's teachings. "This is not the standard Christ set for us," the apostle concluded.

His message resonated with congregants seeking spiritual encouragement. Many left the service with renewed commitment to their faith.
