CDS Assures Safe Rescue of Abducted Students in Kuriga

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen. Christopher Musa, has assured Nigerians that the military is working tirelessly to free the students abducted in Kuriga, Kaduna State, and other victims across the country.

The CDS gave this assurance during his visit to Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State at the Government House in Kaduna on Monday.

Gen. Musa stated that the security forces would expose those behind the evil machinations and bring them to justice.

He emphasized that the military is not sleeping and that many troops are coming to safeguard and bring the children out safely, as quickly as possible.

The CDS also mentioned that President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to supporting the armed forces would further aid in their efforts to ensure the safety of the students and all citizens.

Governor Uba Sani thanked the armed forces and the police for the support they have been giving to the government since the kidnapping incident.

He assured the people of the state that the government is doing everything necessary to protect the people and their properties.

The abduction of 287 primary and secondary school students in Kuriga, Kaduna State, occurred on March 7.

The incident has caused great concern among Nigerians, who are now looking to the government and security forces to ensure the safe rescue of the abducted students and other victims across the country.

The military’s commitment to securing the state, the country, and its citizens is a positive step towards addressing the security challenges faced by the nation.
