In a notable achievement that bridges the worlds of journalism and financial management, renowned Delta State broadcast journalist Umukoro Akpobaro Ernest has been conferred with the prestigious Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) status by the Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Nigeria (CICMA).
Expressing his gratitude, Umukoro said, “I give God the glory for the opportunity to attain the peak of my alternate career. Though it was a long-time dream, I’m grateful to finally achieve it.”
A respected voice in investigative reporting, Umukoro’s recognition by CICMA underscores the value of multidisciplinary expertise. He sees the fellowship as a strategic advantage in his commitment to promoting transparency in governance.
