Barcelona clinched back-to-back La Liga titles on Saturday. They defeated Real Madrid 2-0 in a dominant El Clásico performance at the Nou Camp.

Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a brilliant free-kick early on. Ferran Torres doubled the advantage shortly after, securing the crown.

Both players rushed to embrace head coach Hansi Flick after scoring. The German manager had just learned of his father's death before the match.

Flick remained composed on the touchline throughout the emotional evening. Barcelona's two quick goals made the result a certainty.

This marks only the second time in La Liga history that an El Clásico decided the league title. Spain's football authorities last witnessed this in 1932, when Madrid won via a 2-2 draw.

Barcelona waited three years for their previous crown. They've now captured La Liga three times in the past four seasons.

Flick took charge in 2024 after leaving Bayern Munich and the German national team. He's delivered league titles in both campaigns at the club.

Barcelona now boasts 29 La Liga championships overall. Real Madrid leads with 36 titles, while Atlético Madrid sits third with 11.

Under Flick's management, the Blaugrana have collected five trophies. They've won two Spanish Supercopas and captured last season's Copa del Rey.

Barcelona's 14-point lead at the top means they've effectively wrapped up the trophy. Three matches remain in the 2024-25 season.
