Atiku Condemns Killings and Abductions in Nigeria’s Benue, Kaduna, and Borno States

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has strongly condemned the killings and abductions and called upon the nation’s security agencies to take immediate action to protect innocent citizens.

Atiku expressed his concern over the escalating insecurity in Nigeria, stating that the problem is worsening by the day.

He highlighted numerous incidents in the past week, including the mass abduction of school children in Kunga, Kaduna State, and the kidnapping of women and children in Borno State.

Additionally, he mentioned the massacre in Mbalom, Benue State, as an example of the government’s failure to address the issue of insecurity.

The former vice president criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC)-controlled government for neglecting the weak and vulnerable and failing to fulfill its constitutional responsibility to protect the security and welfare of its citizens.

He also accused the government of making empty rhetoric about reforms while the nation is plagued by insecurity.

In solidarity with the victims and their families, Atiku urged the security agencies to rise to the challenge and save innocent citizens from the horrors of banditry and terrorism.

He emphasized the need for the government to take immediate action to address the issue of insecurity in Nigeria and protect its citizens from further harm.

As the situation in Nigeria continues to deteriorate, it is crucial for the government to take decisive action to address the root causes of insecurity and prevent further loss of life.

The safety and well-being of the Nigerian people must be prioritized, and the government must demonstrate its commitment to fulfilling its constitutional responsibilities.
