Anambra State Governor Emphasizes Accountability and Transparency in Governance

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has issued a stern warning to his aides and other political office holders against the misappropriation of public funds.

Soludo, who has been advocating for the patronage of Nigerian made products and cost reduction in governance, has been leading by example, wearing local fabrics and driving locally manufactured vehicles from Innoson Motors.

Speaking at a thanksgiving service organized by the member representing Orumba North and South Federal Constituency, Princess Chinwe Clara Nnabuife, at St Paul’s Church, Umunze, Governor Soludo emphasized the importance of public office holders being accountable for every penny entrusted to them on behalf of their constituents.

He stressed that public funds are not personal assets and must be used for the good of the people.

Nnabuife, formerly of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), has joined the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) due to Governor Soludo’s exemplary leadership style.

This move highlights the growing support for Soludo’s vision of a transparent and accountable government in Anambra State.
