Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has cleared his screening as a Senate aspirant for Adamawa North. The All Progressives Congress conducted the exercise on Thursday as part of candidate selection for National Assembly elections.
Fintiri presented all required credentials before the screening panel. He was among several aspirants who appeared before the committee that day.
Party officials said the process was transparent and credible. They confirmed the APC remains committed to fair competition among all aspirants seeking elective posts.
His supporters expressed optimism about his chances. According to them, his experience and leadership qualities would strengthen the democratic contest within the party.
