ASUU joins the nationwide indefinite strike by the NLC and TUC

ASUU on Monday instructed its members to participate in the strike starting at midnight.

The union stated its position in a circular to its zonal coordinators and chairpersons, signed by Emmanuel Osodeke, National President of the Union.

“To protect the interests of Nigerian workers and the leadership of the union, all members of our union are hereby instructed to join this action of NLC as an affiliate of NLC.

“Zonal coordinators and branch chairpersons should immediately mobilise our members to participate in the action.
