Advocate.ng reports that President Tinubu had on Friday announced the composition of Governing Councils of federal tertiary institutions across the country with no name of APC members from Delta Central being appointed to any of the boards.

According to the Clergy now politicians, he said that the reconstituted boards run against natural justice and the principle of federal character as enshrined in the Constitution.

Waive, stated this in a protest letter on Saturday addressed to the Minister of Education and titled “Complaint on Gross Marginalization of Delta State in Composition of Councils of Tertiary Institutions”, wondered about the offence of Urhobo Nation which is 5th largest ethnic nationality in Nigeria to be so neglected when the national cake is being shared.

According to him, “I write on behalf of my Constituents and indeed our Senatorial District that was completely left out in the recent composition of Governing Councils of Tertiary Institutions in the Country.

“Indeed my Constituency and our Senatorial District was completely left out among 109 Senatorial Districts and 360 Federal Constituencies in the Country.
“The pressure from our people as a result of this gross injustice is immense and rightly so.”

“I plead with you to use your good offices to rectify this anomaly as quickly as possible to give my people a sense of belonging to the Federal Republic”, he added.
