Tinubu to Perform Groundbreaking of Abuja Airport Garden City: A New Era for Travel & Hospitality

President Bola Tinubu is set to perform the groundbreaking of the multi-billion naira Abuja Airport Garden City, marking a significant milestone in the development of Abuja’s real estate and tourism sectors.

The project, spearheaded by First Rotech Group of Companies Ltd, aims to address the accommodation challenges faced by residents and businesses while attracting new investments to the nation’s capital.

The Abuja Airport Garden City will be situated on a 250-hectare land between the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport and the Abuja Railway Station, with the capacity to accommodate over 3,000 residents and businesses.

High Chief Austin Oguejiofor, chairman of First Rotech Group, emphasized the project’s vision to tap into President Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ Agenda, which aims to improve the ease of doing business and transform the Nigerian economy.

The project is a result of a partnership between First Rotech Group and Dubai construction giant GTX Construction Ltd, as well as T-one Technology Limited for digitization.

This collaboration aims to ensure the delivery of a sophisticated and standardized construction, incorporating modern amenities and facilities to provide a luxurious living environment for Nigerians of various classes.

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has also endorsed the project, acknowledging its potential to galvanize the business environment in Abuja.

The project will feature a range of facilities, including dual carriageway, street lights, sewage systems, water systems, sustainable electricity, green energy, shopping malls, recreational areas, hospitals, schools, and places of worship.

The Abuja Airport Garden City is poised to become a significant landmark in the Travel & Hospitality industry, providing a unique blend of luxury living, modern infrastructure, and a sustainable environment.

With President Tinubu’s support and the commitment of the project’s partners, the groundbreaking ceremony is set to mark the beginning of a new era for real estate development and tourism in Abuja.
