South-South APC Vows Victory in Edo Governorship Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-South Zone has expressed confidence in its ability to win the upcoming Edo State governorship election.

This declaration was made at a recent stakeholders meeting, where APC leaders from the region discussed strategies to strengthen the party in the zone and ensure victory in the forthcoming election.

Cross River State governor, Bassey Otu, who was recently confirmed as the party leader in the region, emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and sustainability in the South-South.

As the only APC governor in the zone, Otu pledged to lead the party to victory in the Edo State governorship election.

“We need to come together to deepen the APC in the South-South. Today, Cross River State is the only APC state in the South-South.

We want to increase that number before we go to the next general election,” Governor Otu stated.

The meeting, attended by chairmen of the party from various states within the zone, resulted in a unanimous decision to work in synergy to strengthen the party in the South-South and secure a win in the Edo State governorship election.

APC South-South Zonal Vice Chairman, Chief Victor Gaidom, issued a warning to other political parties in Edo State, stating that the APC is ready to reclaim governance of the state.

He emphasized the party’s commitment to unity and peace in the region, as well as its determination to emerge victorious in the forthcoming election.

“We are using this opportunity to issue a warning to other political parties in Edo State, letting them know that the APC is ready to collect back the governance of the state,” Gaidom said.

The South-South APC’s confidence in its ability to win the Edo State governorship election is a reflection of the party’s determination to expand its influence in the region and solidify its position as a dominant political force in Nigeria.
