Rev. Ojo Uduma Takes the Reins as New Abia State Chairman of CAN

Rev. Ojo Uduma has been inaugurated as the new Abia State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), marking a new chapter in the leadership of the organization.

During the inauguration ceremony, Apostle Sampson Fatokun Adetunji, the General Secretary of CAN Worldwide, urged the newly appointed members of the State Executive Committee to embrace righteousness as their guiding principle in their roles.

Adetunji emphasized that unrighteousness is the root cause of many leadership issues in Nigeria, including within the church.

The cleric called on the Abia CAN executive committee to emulate righteousness, which would lead to successful leadership and bring glory to God.

He also encouraged the five blocks of churches under CAN to come together and support the new Abia executive committee officers in their mandate.

In his acceptance speech, Rev. Ojo Uduma expressed gratitude to the church in Abia State for entrusting him with the responsibility of presiding over the CAN leadership.

As Rev. Uduma takes on his new role, the Abia State chapter of CAN is poised to continue its mission of promoting unity and cooperation among Christian denominations and advocating for the interests of the Christian community in the state.
