Reno Omokri Reveals Advice to Peter Obi on Presidential Ambition: Run as Atiku’s VP

In a podcast interview with Channels Television’s Seun Okinbaloye on the “Mic On podcast,” former presidential aide Reno Omokri shared his advice to former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, on how to achieve his presidential ambition in the 2023 election.

Omokri disclosed that he advised Obi to run as Waziri Atiku Abubakar’s running mate and remain loyal to him, as this would be the best path to the presidency for him.

Omokri further explained that if Obi were to run as a presidential candidate, he would not win and would only split the votes of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), potentially making it easier for Bola Tinubu to win the election.

He also mentioned that, in terms of education and achievements while in office, Obi was the least qualified among the top three candidates in the 2023 elections.

Despite Omokri’s advice, Peter Obi did not heed his suggestion and contested the 2023 presidential election.

Omokri emphasized that even if the election were held ten times, Obi would still not win.
