‘Political Harlots’ Defeated: Wike’s Confidence in Rivers State Politics

Celebrating the birthday and new position of Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Kingsley Chinda, former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike expressed his confidence in defeating his political opponents in the state.

Wike referred to some of his opponents as ‘political harlots,’ stating that they lack the strength to challenge him in the political arena.

He mocked their inability to secure the governorship ticket in the state and their subsequent decision to support another presidential candidate.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) also praised Chinda, saying that he would have been a worthy successor.

He emphasized the importance of a Southern presidency and his commitment to ensuring that the presidency went to the South.

Wike’s comments highlight the ongoing power struggle within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State.

The former governor has been a dominant figure in the state’s politics and has successfully maintained his influence despite opposition from other political figures.

The event showcased the strong bond between Wike and Chinda, with the former governor openly expressing his admiration for the newly appointed Minority Leader.

The celebration also served as a platform for Wike to reaffirm his political prowess and send a message to his opponents that he remains a formidable force in Rivers State politics.
