PAP Committee Applauds Tinubu’s Appointment of Otuaro as New Amnesty Programme Administrator

The Presidential Amnesty Programme’s Strategic Communication Committee (STRATCOM) has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Chief Dennis Otuaro as the new administrator of the PAP.

The committee believes that this appointment is a testament to the President’s ability to select qualified and experienced individuals to work with him.

STRATCOM chairman, Pastor Nature Dumale, expressed confidence in Otuaro’s ability to address the challenges faced by ex-agitators and to take the amnesty programme to the next level.

Otuaro, having been part of the Niger Delta struggles, is well-versed in the issues and challenges facing the region, particularly those affecting ex-agitators.

Dumale urged Otuaro to engage with all stakeholders in the region, including traditional rulers, youths, and ex-agitators, to work towards the common goal of peace and overall development of the Niger Delta.

He also called on all stakeholders to support and cooperate with the new amnesty boss in achieving this vision.

STRATCOM, which was established during the tenure of the former Interim Administrator, Colonel Milland Dikio (retd), serves as a clearing house for accurate information about the amnesty programme to avoid misinformation and falsehoods.

The appointment of Chief Dennis Otuaro as the new administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme has been met with praise from the STRATCOM committee.

They believe that Otuaro’s experience and understanding of the Niger Delta’s challenges will contribute to the success of the amnesty programme and the overall development of the region.
