Oborevwori’s Peace and Security Initiatives Effective, Says Ossai

The Senior Special Assistant on media to the Delta State Governor, Mr. Ossai Ovie Success, has praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s peace and security initiatives, stating that the Governor has placed a high priority on ensuring the safety of all Deltans.

Since assuming office, Governor Oborevwori has been proactive in collaborating with security agencies to maintain peace and security in the state.

According to Ossai, the Governor’s street credibility and understanding of local issues have enabled him to address potential conflicts, such as the recent event in Okuama community.

To further strengthen the state’s security, Governor Oborevwori met with President and Commander in Chief of the Armed forces, H.E, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Security Adviser, the Chief of Army Staff, and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to discuss the security situation in Delta State.

The Governor also held a State Security Council meeting with Service Chiefs in Bomadi Local Government.

The Oborevwori administration has demonstrated a strong commitment to peace and security in all parts of the state.

By prioritizing the protection of lives and properties, the Governor has ensured that Delta remains a peaceful and secure state.
