Nigerian winger Qurib Adetola has completed his transfer to Finnish top-flight side HJK Helsinki, the reigning Veikkausliiga champions. The 18-year-old signed a three-year deal with an optional additional year after leaving Derby Football Academy.
HJK Helsinki paid a transfer fee to Derby Football Academy to secure Adetola's services. The youngster has already begun training with his new squad ahead of competitive action.
Adetola could make his competitive debut on July 11 when Klubi 04 face Jippo in a Ykkösliiga fixture. The move marks a significant step in the forward's career as he takes on European football.
