Makinde Consoles Bishop Wale Oke on the Passing of His Mother, Late Mrs. Elizabeth Areola Oke

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State recently visited Bishop Francis Wale Oke, the President of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries and the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), to offer his condolences on the passing of his mother, late Mrs. Elizabeth Areola Oke.

During the visit, Governor Makinde expressed his sympathy to the Bishop and the entire Oke family, acknowledging that the deceased lived a fulfilling life and left a legacy of great children who have positively impacted the world.

He encouraged the family to take solace in the fact that their mother lived a long and fruitful life, passing away at the age of 97 years.

The governor also used the opportunity to assure Bishop Oke and the people of Oyo State of his unwavering commitment to their welfare and the development of the state.

He highlighted the efforts of his administration to build a strong foundation for the state’s economic development and progress.

Bishop Wale Oke, on behalf of his family, expressed gratitude to Governor Makinde for his visit and support during their time of grief.

He assured the governor of their continuous support and prayers for his success and for the emergence of a God-fearing successor who will continue to lead the state towards greater heights.

The visit by Governor Makinde to the Oke family underscores the importance of unity and support within the community during times of loss and serves as a reminder of the responsibility of leaders to provide comfort and reassurance to their constituents.
