Governor Zulum of Borno State Appoints 168 Assistants and 104 Board Members for State’s Progress

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has announced the appointment of 168 assistants and 104 board members for the 15 agencies and commissions of the state.

The appointments were made in accordance with the provisions of Section 208(2)d of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as amended.

The appointees include nine Senior Technical Assistants (STA), 81 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), and 78 Special Assistants (SAs).

Additionally, 104 individuals have been appointed as Chairmen and Board members of the 15 agencies and commissions in the state.

The Secretary to the Borno State Government, Alhaji Bukar Tijjani, released a statement on Monday in Maiduguri, congratulating the appointees and expressing the governor’s expectations for their contributions to the development of the state.

This move by Governor Zulum is aimed at strengthening the government’s efforts in various sectors and ensuring the effective functioning of the state’s agencies and commissions.

The appointees are expected to bring their expertise and knowledge to the table, working closely with the governor and other officials to improve the lives of the people of Borno State.
