Governor Uzodinma Lauds Tinubu’s Decision to Implement Oronsaye Report for Improved Governance and Economy

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has praised President Bola Tinubu’s decision to implement the Steve Oronsaye report, a move that he believes will enhance governance and boost the nation’s economy.

Speaking in Abuja yesterday after a meeting with Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governor Uzodinma called the report a “brilliant, bold, and courageous document.”

He emphasized that if properly implemented, the report would help the government cut costs and manage resources more prudently.

“All over the world, what people are talking about now; due to the exigencies of the economic impact globally, is to cut cost and do a prudent management of resources,” the governor stated.

When asked if he would do a similar thing in Imo State to cut the cost of governance, Governor Uzodinma simply said, “We are already implementing it.”

Regarding the security situation in Imo State, Governor Uzodinma attributed the improvement to the grace of God.

He expressed his happiness and delight that the security situation in the state has improved, not only in Imo but also in the South-East region as a whole.

Governor Uzodinma’s support for President Tinubu’s decision to implement the Oronsaye report highlights the potential benefits it could bring to Nigeria’s governance and economy.
