Governor Sule Lauds President Tinubu for Enhanced State Allocations

Nasarawa State governor, Abdullahi Sule, has expressed gratitude towards President Bola Tinubu for ensuring increased monthly allocations to all states, including Nasarawa State.

Governor Sule’s commendation comes amid ongoing efforts to improve state infrastructure and meet key development goals for the people of the state.

During a recent event, Governor Sule emphasized the positive impact of the improved allocations on the state’s ability to embark on significant infrastructural projects across Nasarawa.

He highlighted that with the increased revenue, state governments have no excuse not to fulfill their development mandate to the people.

“We want to thank President Ahmed Bola Tinubu that all states, including Nasarawa State, are receiving improved revenue every month.

With the improved revenue, if we are serious about work, all the projects are achievable,” Governor Sule said.

In addition to meeting other key obligations to the people of the state, Sule’s administration is currently performing groundbreaking for several infrastructural projects, such as a flyover and an underpass in Lafia, the state capital.

The governor explained that these projects would not only beautify the city but also elevate its status to that of a modern state capital.

“We are going to build around the Emir’s Palace Roundabout. Today, because we are comfortable, we are not doing an underpass only, we are doing the underpass now at the junction of Total Filling Station and by the time we get to the roundabout, we are building a flyover,” Governor Sule elaborated.

The improved allocations have provided a much-needed boost to Nasarawa State’s development efforts, enabling the state to undertake ambitious infrastructural projects and fulfill its obligations to the people.

This development is a testament to President Tinubu’s commitment to improving the financial health of all states and empowering state governments to meet their development goals.
