Governor Sani: Rescued Kaduna Schoolchildren’s Safe Return is Top Priority, Not Ransom Reports

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has recently emphasized that the safe return of the abducted Kuriga schoolchildren is the top priority, rather than the rumors surrounding the payment of ransom.

In an interview on Channels TV, Governor Sani said that the government had successfully rescued all of the schoolchildren unhurt, about four weeks after they were abducted from LEA Primary School and Government Secondary School, Kuriga.

There had been rumors that the government paid ransom to the kidnappers for the release of the children.

The governor stressed that the focus should be on the children’s safe return and their parents’ happiness, rather than on speculation about the methods used to secure their release.

He explained that the government had handled the situation discreetly to avoid jeopardizing the lives of the innocent children.

Governor Sani’s statement highlights the importance of prioritizing the safety and well-being of the abducted schoolchildren and their families, while also maintaining the government’s commitment to addressing security issues in the state.
