Ganduje’s Ward Leaders Deny Knowledge of His Suspension

The twenty seven party leaders of Ganduje ward in Dawakin Tofa local government area of Kano State have distanced themselves from the recent announcement of the suspension of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

During an emergency press briefing at the party’s headquarters in Kano, the ward chairman, Ahmad Muhammad Ganduje, declared that the claim of Ganduje’s suspension was “concocted and impersonated.”

He stated that the individuals who announced the suspension were not card-carrying members of the APC, and their actions had no effect on the National Chairman.

The ward and local government executives have identified the individuals involved in this situation and are preparing to charge them to court for impersonation and defamation.

They assert that these individuals were sponsored by the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) state government in a calculated attempt to embarrass and damage the image of the APC and its National Chairman.

Ganduje’s ward leaders emphasized that the purported suspension was null and void, and they have exonerated themselves from any involvement in the claim.

They reiterated that the ward and local government executives had no prior knowledge of the suspension and that the individuals involved were not part of the APC.

This development comes amidst ongoing political tensions in Kano State, with the NNPP state government and the APC at loggerheads over various issues.

The denial of Ganduje’s suspension by his ward leaders highlights the internal divisions within the state’s political landscape and raises questions about the motives behind the suspension announcement.

As the situation unfolds, the legal action that the ward leaders plan to take against the individuals involved in the suspension announcement will be closely watched.

The outcome of this case could have significant implications for the political dynamics in Kano State and the broader APC party structure.
