FestMobile's sales chief has unveiled plans to capture market share through tailor-made mobile packages. John Isibor, general manager of sales at the MVNO, told reporters the firm will design plans around how individual customers actually live and use their phones.
Rather than forcing all users into standard packages, FestMobile is betting on flexibility and ease. Isibor explained that simplicity and accessibility form the backbone of what the company offers.
The newly launched MVNO recently entered Nigeria's telecom space with big ambitions. It promises to shake up how Nigerians stay connected, talk to each other, and handle money matters online.
Central to the company's strategy is a campaign called "Be You." According to Isibor, this message underscores the firm's focus on letting people express themselves freely in a digital age.
FestMobile positions itself as a modern network built for how consumers actually behave today. The company says it'll deliver a smarter, more adaptable mobile experience tied to real-world living.
Youth and university students are key targets for the startup. It's rolling out cheap voice, data, and SMS bundles alongside flexible subscription models for both city dwellers and underserved areas.
Nigeria's telecom sector is growing faster after recent policy shifts. In his words, Isibor credited the Nigerian Communications Commission for opening doors to MVNO operators like FestMobile.
"We commend the NCC for its foresight in enabling MVNO participation in Nigeria. This is a transformational move that broadens the value chain of mobile communications and empowers innovation across the industry," he stated.
FestMobile intends to blend mobile services with digital offerings. The company sees an opportunity where telecom providers become broader platforms offering more than just calls and texts.
Routelink Integrated Systems Ltd, the licensed operator behind FestMobile's brand, aims to bridge traditional telecom and emerging digital services. Its model particularly targets areas where mobile connectivity links with payments and daily transactions.
