APGA Criticizes Ozigbo’s Assessment of Governor Soludo’s Performance in Anambra

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has criticized the recent comments made by Labour Party (LP) chieftain, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, regarding Governor Charles Soludo’s performance in the past two years as the governor of Anambra State.

Ozigbo, who is considering running for the governorship in the 2025 election, stated that he was unimpressed with Soludo’s performance.

However, APGA’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Mr. Ejimofor Opara, has accused Ozigbo of looking for an excuse to declare his candidacy and attract donations for his campaign.

Opara questioned what Ozigbo would have done differently in areas like Okpoko, Ekwulobia, and in the ongoing road revolution in the state.

He also pointed out that Soludo has made significant improvements in these areas and that Ozigbo failed to acknowledge this in his assessment.

Furthermore, Opara dismissed Ozigbo’s promise of a single term of four years, stating that it is unlikely for a politician to make such a commitment.

He also criticized Ozigbo for being a “Peter Obi’s Man Friday” and urged him to focus on his own political career instead of relying on his association with the former governor.

APGA’s response to Ozigbo’s comments highlights the ongoing debate over Governor Soludo’s performance in Anambra State.

It also underscores the importance of constructive criticism and the need for political leaders to focus on addressing the challenges faced by their constituents, such as unemployment and infrastructure development.
