Uzo-Uwani Professionals Association Denounces Governor Mbah’s Cattle Ranch Initiative in Nimbo

The Uzo-Uwani Professionals Association (UZPA) has strongly opposed the proposal by Governor Peter Mbah to establish a cattle ranch for nomadic herders in the Nimbo community of Uzo-Uwani local government in the state.

According to the UZPA, the project is not only insensitive but also abrasive to the sensibilities of the people of Nimbo Community and of Uzo-Uwani in general.

The Association stated that the total lack of community engagement in the concept and design of the project is befuddling.

The Uzo-Uwani Professionals Association, a foremost non-political and non-partisan group of professionals of Uzo-Uwani extraction, has been monitoring Governor Peter Mbah and his collaborators.

They called on the government to stop any further plans on the project.
