Again, Court admits Emefiele to N300m bail

The suspended CBN boss, Godwin Emefiele, got a N300 million bail from an FCT High Court on Wednesday.

He was also asked to present two sureties with the same amount.

The sureties must own properties in Maitama District with valid certificates of occupancy and titles.

Emefiele must surrender his travel documents to the court registrar and stay within the Abuja Municipal Council.

He will be kept in the Kuje Correctional Centre until he fulfils the bail conditions.

This is the second time he has been granted bail in four months. The first time was by a Federal High Court in Lagos with a N20 million bail.
