22-Year-Old Arrested with Gun and POS Machine: Shocking Details Emerge

A 22-year-old man named Francis Okoye Obinna was apprehended by the Edo State police command on April 7, 2024.

The young man, who was on his way from Lagos to Anambra, was found in possession of a gun and a POS machine, raising serious concerns about his intentions and the broader implications of his actions.

According to a statement released by the Edo State police command, Obinna was detained during a routine stop and search operation.

Upon inspection, a Brownie Pistol with breach number PZ1833, along with 9 rounds of 6mm ammunition and a POS machine, were discovered in his possession.

The startling discovery immediately prompted further investigation into the young man’s background and motives.

In his initial statement to the police, Obinna claimed that a man named Emma in Lagos had given him the gun to use in threatening one Mr. Paul Okoye.

He alleged that Mr. Okoye had killed his father with a charm in Anambra State, and that he sought to exact revenge.

However, the Edo State police operatives traveled to Lagos to verify the veracity of his claims and found no evidence to support his story.

The Edo State police command has since initiated a comprehensive investigation into the matter, aiming to uncover the true circumstances surrounding the possession of the gun and the POS machine.

The Edo State police command has urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation in maintaining public safety.

As the investigation continues, the Edo State police have assured the public that they will do everything in their power to get to the bottom of this case and ensure that justice is served.

In the meantime, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the need for vigilance and cooperation in the fight against crime and illegal activities.
