{"id":1814214,"date":"2018-09-26T13:31:20","date_gmt":"2018-09-26T13:31:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/advocateng.com\/?p=12298"},"modified":"2018-09-26T13:31:20","modified_gmt":"2018-09-26T13:31:20","slug":"delta-2019-to-defeat-okowa-will-be-tough-apc-chieftains-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/advocate.ng\/delta-2019-to-defeat-okowa-will-be-tough-apc-chieftains-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Delta 2019: To defeat Okowa will be tough -APC chieftains"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Godwin Utuedoye &amp; Kobiruo Joseph,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h6><em>Stalwarts of the All Progressive Congress APC, Delta State chapter, Hon Temi Harriman, Gabriel Oyibode, and Dr Ike Odikpo have said that the task of defeating the incumbent governor of Delta state, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in 2019 election is a hard\u00a0 nut to crack.<\/em><\/h6>\n<h6><em><a href=\"http:\/\/advocateng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG-20180920-WA0006.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-12249 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/advocateng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/IMG-20180920-WA0006-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Speaking separately at the consultation visit by a governorship aspirant, Great Ovedje Ogboru to leaders, elders, Ward and local government executives of the party from Delta Central, they described Okowa as a deft politician who is hard to beat in any election.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to them, &#8220;To remove an incumbent governor is more than the ordinary and unless the APC come together to fight, it would be difficult to unseat the sitting governor of Delta State.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/advocateng.com\/ayemidejor-distributes-notebooks-to-students-and-pupils-in-sapele\/\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">READ ALSO: Ayemidejor distribute over 12,000 notebooks to students and pupils in Sapele<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mike Odikpo, a governorship aspirant from Delta North who stepped down along side with Sunny Ofehe for Great\u00a0Ogboru\u00a0said; &#8220;I came to join Ogboru in his drive on the rescue mission because as we know it is not easy to remove a sitting governor&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>He said, &#8220;Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru is\u00a0best striker and we are queuing behind him and if we miss it this time,\u00a0it will be difficult for the APC.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Hon.
