Urhobo Youths commend Buhari, felicitates with Emerhor, other Delta Board Appointees

Urhobo youths has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Olorogun Otega Emerhor, Delta APC leader and other APC faithfuls as Chairmen and Members of the Governing Boards of federal agencies and cooperation in the newly constituted Boards.

The leadership of the Urhobo National Youth Council (UNYC), signed by its President Comrade Monday Oyeghe thanked Mr President especially those from Delta state.

The group however, urged the president to take a second look at the list of appointments just released, noting that some of them may have been overtaken by events.

He also congratulated all newly appointed Delta APC faithfuls on their appointment by the Federal Government, as Chairmen and Members of the Governing Boards of federal agencies and parastatals, noted that they deserves the appointments.

According to him, “we thank the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari on these appointments especially as it relates to Delta State.

“We however urge Mr President to consider firstly, a review of the said appointments as certain appointments have been overtaken by events and also the consideration of more Delta APC Faithfuls in subsequent federal appointments.

‘Also worthy of consideration, is the appointment of the Delta State APC Leader in the person of Olorogun Otega Emerhor OON., as Chairman of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin.

“We wish to strongly urge in no small measure, that he be considered for a higher appointment bearing in mind that he has worked and contributed tirelessly for the Party since 20I3 till date.

“As it is said, ‘to whom much is expected, much should be given.’
